A single of the first pc clubs was the Homebrew Pc Club. They held their initial meeting in Menlo Park, California, March of 1975. Amongst the members, attendees and presenters at these meetings have been folks like Adam Osborne (manufacturer of the Osborne 1, the 1st commercially successful portable computerâ??only 23.five pounds), 20 home automation year old Steve Jobs (co founder, CEO of Apple Computer systems) and a 24 year old Steve Wozniak (co founder, designer of the 1st Apple Personal computer).
Meetings would start with members commenting and discussing business rumors, swapping components, and solving difficulties. Members would show off their most recent successâ??or at times failure.
